What the Bible teaches about peace and unity
The Bible teaches that peace and unity are important values that should be pursued and cultivated. In the New Testament, Jesus himself said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9). The Apostle Paul also wrote about the importance of peace and unity in several of his letters. For example, in Ephesians 4:3, he writes, "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
The Bible also teaches that peace and unity are closely tied to love. In 1 Corinthians 13, it says, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." This passage teaches that love involves putting the needs and well-being of others ahead of our own, and it is through this kind of selfless love that we can find true peace and unity.
Overall, the Bible teaches that peace and unity are important values that should be actively pursued and cultivated in our relationships with others.
It also says God where have you been when this one needed you (for inspiration).
