Skatehive community launched their skateboarding-only social media platform https://skatehive.app.

On https://skatehive.app you post skateboarding, make connections with other skaters from all over the world and get rewarded with cryptocurrency (Hive tokens).

Lots of new faces are joining Skatehive the past few weeks so I decided to create this tutorial with tips and tricks on how to make your post content awesome and get people #stoked.

Adding that extra effort to your post will help readers enjoy it more thus reward you with an upvote. Upvotes on Skatehive means more $$ for content creator so I'd recommend you do that give that lil extra time in making your content look more appealing. Let's go

How to post on https://skatehive.app

First things first, log in to https://skatehive.app using your Hive account username and "posting key".

If you're having trouble signing up via https://skatehive.app please join the Skatehive Discord and Request an account. Skatehive team will create and email you a Hive account.

After logging in click on the pencil icon at the top right corner of your screen and follow the steps bellow

Step 1 : Add post title

A sweet post title can draw lots of attention to your post. Keep the title short and use keywords related to the content you're sharing.

Step 2 : Add tags

Add tags that describe your post. Did you skate the park and uploading park footage? Use the tag "skatepark". Did you skate the streets? Use "streetskate". Use any tag you find fitting to your post.

Step 3: Add post description

Description plays a big role in making your post look appealing. Tell the community a few words about your new content, credit the homie who filmed you or the skater you filmed/photographed. What's the spot you skated?

Most content consumers wanna learn the "lore" behind the content so make sure to give 'em one

Step 4 : Paste your video link

Right now you can't upload videos directly to Skatehive.app. What you can do though is upload your clips in your favourite video platform, grab that link and paste it in your Skatehive.app post.

If regular link doesn't work try the "Embed" one, works like a charm!

For those who wanna go full Skatehive I'd recommend you sign up with your email on https://3speak.tv, a Hive front-end for video content, connect their Hive accounts and post your new edit via 3speak. Your 3speak uploads will automatically be shared on https://skatehive.app as long as you select Skatehive Community in 3speak's upload page

Step 5 : Preview your post

Preview your post and make sure it looks cool. If you find any room form improvement go for it. If you think it's perfect then move to step 6.

Step 6 : Publish and earn

Click on the "Publish" button and Bo0m, you just shared a post on https://skatehive.app! You're a cryptoskater now so let's #GetStoken!

Photography Content

Same steps but instead of pasting a video link you can upload photos directly from your computer. Scroll your mouse on the "photo" icon at the top of your posting tab, click on "Upload from PC", choose your photos and that's it!

Don't forget to add a description and credits to everyone invovled into the photoshooting. Important to credit the homies!

Make sure you upload original content only. Plagiarists will be muted and downvoted to hell!
