Art Skills (Drawing and Painting): My Personal Journey and Future Prospects

Happy new week to my friends in the Hive Ghana community. The themes selected for this week's writing prompts are really inspiring and it looks like I was in the mind of those who selected the themes.

Life has a way of helping us learn some things we may not know how important they will be in the future. Fine art is one of those adventures I never saw could be anything meaningful in the future. Despite having a very talented teacher, I never took serious those times he would want to us to explore our creativity.

I was not all bad at the subject, but it did not just look like a skill I will hold in esteem, but life happens. Thank you to the hive blockchain that has changed a lot of my narratives about work. First, it was with playing games. Only on this blockchain did I discover that I could play games and make some money.

Recently, I have found myself fallen in love with arts - drawing and painting. Thanks to the friend here on Hive through whose art posts I drew many inspirations. I finally had to go for a fresher course in fine Art last year. The Six months spent there was very valuable as it helped me fine-tune my drawing skills. Just a few days now that I have been able to create some freehand pen sketch for an art contest, I am shocked a how well I have improved in the craft. Interestingly, I have earned over $10 and I already have two drawing bookings from my friends. They just want me to give them a pen sketch. The collage above are a some of the creations I have done and I am proud od myself already.

self-Discovery, Exploration and Growth

My personal journey of discovering my artistic skills have been a revelation, uncovering a hidden talent that has the potential to shape my future. Though the journey commenced with a simple art challenge, a venture into the unknown that revealed an innate talent for drawing and painting. It was a revelation, igniting a spark of creativity that had long remained dormant, and I am determined to build on it better.

Each stroke of the pen/pencil in my creation and every sketch became a canvas for personal growth, refining skills, and uncovering my unique artistic voice. It means a lot to me and I am determined to get better everyday. I am building my personal portfolio, primarily on hive blockchain. I hope to have friends give me feedback to help me improve.

Monetizing my Passion and Craft

Since Art has become my obsession and passion, earning from it is also inevitable. As said already, I have earned $10 so far and I have received offline sketch jobs that would pay around $8 too. It is just the beginning for me. The prospect of making a living from art has become a tangible reality. In the future, I may consider selling prints, and participating in local exhibitions provided glimpses of a potential career fueled by passion.

I am also leveraging the power of social media platforms (decentralized) in building my digital presence. I will share my artistic process, participate in more online challenges, and connect with a global audience create a supportive community of fellow artists. Teaching and Sharing the Knowledge

With my personal successes, the desire to sharing my artistic discoveries has caused me to sharew my testimonies with friends and encouraging them that they too can create something beautiful. I am willing to help a few discover themselves in this path too. In the future, I will offer art classes, both in person and online, not only became a source of income but also a fulfilling way to inspire others on their own creative journeys. I know that having a skill especially, one that pays will be helpful especially for anyone in my country.

In conclusion, taking stock of my transformative journey, it's clear that "That One Skill" that has become a catalyst for my personal and professional growth is art. Nurturing this One kkill has become my obsession. I will be pleased to help more people walk in this light too.
