Let's say your ever-trusted uncle promised to give you $1,000 on the 1st of November, and on the 31st of October, he had an accident. The $1,000 promised will automatically enter "voicemail". That's a clear explanation of the word "voicemail" as it relates to this article.

Earlier today, I was discussing with @ibbtammy about the Hive Zealy campaign that's ending in a few days, and along the line, she paused and login to the site to check my position in the leaderboard, when she saw my position, she began to hail me, pointing out the expected money that's coming to my hand at the end of the campaign. I was happy too, but a thought came to my mind, and I told her, "What if the money promised enters voicemail?". She screamed and began begging me to confess, "God forbid," to reverse what I said. Yeah, she begged me to the extent that I had to concur and confessed "God forbid" so that God would forbid it and make my word not come to pass.

Let's come to a real sense and be more realistic in life. What if, by tomorrow, November 1st, the INLEO boss comes and says the 5,000HBD pool price for the campaign has been hacked or maybe snake-swallowed from his wallet? What will happen?

Mehn! People will run mad for the whole of the day, and its like I'm among those that will dance into madness too because I've placed this money on high expectations... I've been expecting it the way ladies expect gifts on their birthday. Done deal!

It's quite amusing how we're aware that relying on a promised item isn't always ideal due to the unpredictability of life, yet we continue to do so.That's to tell you how hard it is to control the mind.

I know some people will read this and be like, "No way! If the money doesn't come, I'm not going to feel it"*
It's a big lie! These are the people who are like chameleons, camouflaging in public. These are the people who will boast that they can't cry when a guy or girl breaks their heart, but when it actually happens, they will go and pick up their customised handkerchief for tears in their home.

Okay, let me give you an instance...

What if the INLEO boss has a pregnant wife and she gives birth tomorrow, and out of celebration, he calls a party and uses the 5,000HBD budgeted to host it? After all, it's not your money; it is his money. Even if he comes out plainly with this reason, you will have no option but to celebrate with him and send him some HBD as a gift for the baby. This is where hypocrisy will be at its peak, trust me. People will be sending half-baked congratulatory messages.... including me too.

Oh! You may want to say, "Even if that happens, he has bastard money, and the 5,000HBD set aside for this campaign cannot be touched no matter what kind of party he pulls". The truth is, the only way to avoid spending this money when such a party happens is if he turns to Hakimi by making his Mother the custodian of his money.

My dear, anything is possible,

We never expected monkeys to cart away with billions of naira in an office in my country, Nigeria.

Anything can happen!

The zealy money can hang on the way, and there'll be nothing for you to do.
