Hive is difficult—Hive was difficult

Greetings!

The journey that led me to join Hive is always a laughable one, and it's a story I love writing about because it tickles my entire being whenever I reflect on how I joined and how far I've come.

Hive was difficult, yes, it was!

Before I finally took the bold step to join this blockchain, one of the things that scared me off was the belief that "Hive is hard." Indeed, it seemed hard, as people who were already on Hive would always tell us how one needed to follow very strict rules when writing based on specific prompts in order to earn. They emphasized how important it was to avoid "messing around" in communities, unlike the platform we were previously writing on—ReadCash. It's not like we were really messing around on ReadCash, but the rules weren’t as strict, and the platform was more lenient in general.

Another thing was that Hive operates with manual earning (curation), unlike ReadCash, where bots were in charge of earnings, and the more traffic you generate, the more attention you attract from the bots. These factors made me stay put on that writing platform, reluctant to move to Hive and face the so-called "difficult" environment.

However, a time came when ReadCash became unstable. Earnings were no longer coming in, and there were rumors about the platform shutting down. That was when I decided to give Hive a shot. After all, many of my friends from ReadCash had already joined, and I didn’t want to be left behind.

As I often tell my friends, once you find a good circle of friends, things tend to get better, not worse. If I hadn’t met the people on ReadCash, I wouldn’t have known about a great platform like Hive. And even if this platform(Hive) were to go down in the future, I’m confident there will always be another one to hop onto.

So, I registered, but I had a tough time doing so via the Ecency frontend. It kept saying that my phone’s IP address had already been registered, which I assumed was because the phone company had possibly used it to register on Hive during test runs. Lol, 😅

I was one of those who had little knowledge of how the platform worked. After registering, I left my account dormant for over a month before returning to figure out how to acquire HP and get started. I clearly remember that I didn’t know about HP delegation back then, so I went through the hassle of buying Hive on Binance, sending it to the blockchain, and doing my first power-up. Hive was $0.6 at the time, and ever since then, I haven’t seen it cross that mark.

So, is Hive still difficult?

Well, as they say, what you don’t know always appears like a big mountain. That’s exactly how I saw Hive at first—an insurmountable challenge. But as I progressed, I realized that it wasn’t as difficult as I initially thought. It’s just a matter of consistency and good strategy. Honestly, it’s not even all about writing, writing, and writing—it’s more about understanding the basics and playing your cards right.

Thanks!

Ooooops! I missed the deadline 🤦🏽‍♂️

Lol, Mr playing your cards right. Hive is difficult to newbies o but once that newbie follows on he or she will begin to vibe with the flow.

My encounter with hive is one that was unbelievable but joining a good community helped me believe in myself.

Now I can say that hive is the place😁

Lolz😂
Hive is actually difficult on the starting level and worst of the person is lazy like me. But when dedication and determination is put in, it's going to pay off.
Thank you for stopping by
