Drink and get drunk

Greetings!

I’m not into alcohol, and I don’t criticize people who are. I used to have a lot of acquaintances and friends who drank, and back in those days, we would go out for drinks. I’d always be mocked by them, especially by their girlfriends, because I would go for non-alcoholic drinks, which they referred to as “ladies’ drinks.” But I didn’t care. It’s not that I avoid alcohol for religious reasons or because I fear getting intoxicated—it’s just not my thing.

One particular day, during our second year in school, we went out to a lounge close to our lodge to have a drink. As usual, I ordered a soft drink while two of my guys, who were also my roommates, decided to soak themselves in alcohol. They took different bottles of alcohol and were fully aware of what they were doing, as they just wanted to get really high.

We left the place around midnight and headed back to our house. I slept off peacefully while the two guys were busy spilling all kinds of talk.

Around 1:30 a.m., I was awakened by a loud sound, like a rock hitting the floor. I saw one of them on the floor, fidgeting and holding his head in pain. He had just hit his head on the floor because of the smelly slippery puke all over the place, creating an awful stench that filled the house. The smell was so bad that I almost puked myself, but I managed to go to his rescue, as he was writhing on the floor so badly it looked like he was about to die.

Meanwhile, the other guy was pinned down in one spot, still talking and completely unaware of what was happening in the house. I wondered why the odor wasn’t affecting him—or maybe it was, but he was temporarily paralyzed by the alcohol and couldn’t move away from the spot.

After making sure the guy on the floor was no longer in pain, I realized there was no way I should be the one cleaning up the mess. I picked up my phone and went to another friend’s room to sleep, leaving them to deal with the mess in the room. I slept peacefully that night, and the following day, I found them still lying there, their clothes stained and soaked in the liquids on the ground. The room still reeked of the awful smell, which I couldn’t stand. I sneaked in, covering my nose with a handkerchief, grabbed my clothes, toothbrush, and school books, and left them to dwell in the smelly room.

I took my bath in the room of the guy I spent the night with and went to school that morning from there. When I returned in the afternoon, I found the room cleaned and sparkling. They had come back to their senses before I came back. Lol😅

Thanks for reading.

One way to confirm when a person is already drunk is when they finally vomit all the things that they consume.

Yeah.
Some people can't just escape it without vomiting and messing up things

It might be messy and smells bad but that's still a much preferred result rather than people getting aggressive or violent when drunk.

Omor, this your guys are something else, I love your decision to leave them alone to sort their mess but that doesn't stop them from drinking the next day
