Mage Yang; I knew Faco to be reckless, but I never knew him to be a traitor. He has totally gone against everything the brotherhood stands for. We mages are supposed to bring peace to the realm at all costs, but Faco is bent on bringing chaos instead. To think about how he had planned to annihilate every member of the brotherhood, all for power. The king must hear about this.

General Sham; No he can not, at least not now. We do not know who to trust, you are the only powerful mage left who can face Faco among the brotherhood. I fear that Faco has some political support from either the king's ministers, the state preceptor, or even the king himself. We've already lost Lyon to the stapid caused by Faco's energy force. If Lyon had not sacrificed himself holding down the entire building to secure our escape, we wouldn't be alive. We can not let his sacrifice be in vain by moving foolishly. We must first know we we can trust, before finalizing our next move.

Mage Yang; And how do you suggest we do that?

General Sham; I still have some men in my army I can trust, especially among the king guards. I will need to know everything going on in the realm, who I can trust, and who is the real enemy.

Mage Yang; And how sure are you that you can trust your men?

General Sham; I know those who I can trust, I raised some of them myself and they hold more loyalty to me than to the realm. One man I know I can't trust is Cornel Lane, I often question how he got favor from the king to get promoted to the level he is now, however, I will get to it by the end of the week.

Mage Yang; With all that's happened, you will need your strength, I have regained enough strength from my energy core, let me try to see how much of your wounds can be healed.

Mage Yang places her hands on General Sham's chest as he lies down injured, Blue sparks begin to elude from her as General Sham's wounds begin to heal

Mage Yang; (signs of pain and tiredness.) I'm sorry Sham, your wounds are too deep for me to heal in this state. You will need to rest while I see if I can get something to eat from the woods.

General Sham; No stop, some of the wounds have healed already… ah (signs in pain as he tries to get up) It's dangerous in the woods, let me go get us food instead.

Mage Yang; You haven't changed Sham, how many times do I need to remind you I can take good care of myself. I'm the one with actual powers you know. Rest love, while I go get us food.

General Sham; 19 years

Mage Yang; What's that?

General Sham; It's been 19 years since you last called me love.

Their eyes meet in silence as General Sham tries to hold mage Yang's hand, but she withdraws immediately she feels his touch and turns to go outside as General Sham calls her back.

General Sham; Yang, I'm sorry.

She refuses to turn as a tear rolls down her cheek. Stood still for a moment as though his words made her freeze, but later proceeded outside the hut they were in to get food.

Marcos; Father what's going on, you got me scared, I thought something had happened to you.

High Mage Faco; You sure you were worried about me, or you were scared what would happen to you if I die…

Marcos; (stammering) Bu-but fa-far-father I-I

High Mage Faco; Enough son, you always forget how much you stammer when you are about to tell a lie

Anyway, it's good you are here, things have taken a drastic turn, I must commend you, I was really impressed how you orchestrated the entire plan for Tobias to learn about his origin, how the former Emperor killed his parents, and made him a prisoner among his people. Now he would want to rally the entire wolfbreed to fight against the realm. This would continue the war my father and your grandfather started 25 years ago, the entire realm and the wolfbreed will kill each other, and we shall watch from the shadows as they pave our way to ultimate power.
