NO SUCH THING
I would always say there is no such thing as work-life balance, you would always need to sacrifice one for one if you truly want to succeed. Success begins from accepting whatever decision you made, and choosing whatever consequence that comes with it. The moment you understand that there will be a time where your work becomes your life, and your life becomes your work thus anyone that wants to be around you must be ready to work with you else they might never be able to enjoy your presence. This is why a lot of parents do not have time for their kids. Their work is their life, and I would say such people shouldn't be raising a family as it requires even more energy to raise a family and thus you can't share it.
I look at my life currently and to be sincere, if not because I'm keeping a streak, I would be using the 1 hour I dedicate to writing every day for something else. Not just because I love my job, but because I want to be so good at it, that it would take a whole lot of work and time to reach the height I'm aiming for. So I dedicate my life to doing so right now especially because when I get married I would want to have enough time to dedicate to my family and less time to my work. I want to build a system that works for me continually and puts food on the table also, but in order to do that, I need to spend the time I have now into building parts of my life that would work on their own in the future.
When I asked my partner, I specifically told her the kind of relationship and the kind of person I needed in my life and that's someone I can build with. It was me telling her that if she knows it's something she can't do, she should let me know so I can find someone else. Right now I'm building my life, and if I must admit there are a number of things I want to build that would be better built with a partner in mind. This is so I don't get a partner who would find it difficult to accommodate my already built life especially when I get to the point where my work has become my life. My partner won't just understand I need to work, but would be working hand in hand with me building both our lives together.

At the moment my work routine doesn't involve just repetitive tasks, it involves a lot of innovations and creativity which is something that requires attention as I grow. To be creative I would need to spend a lot of time reading and developing myself with little or no time to slow down. A lot of times my health has been affected by my change in routines but then it's what I must do if I must build the future I dream of. Building something from scratch is never easy, my job requires me to do it continually, my routines change, increase or decrease at any time, but then, it's paramount that I remember why I started everything in the first place.
