LEAVING THE CORPORATE WORLD

<div class=text-justify

In a bid to make ends meet after all the hassles and tassels of life, I finally decided to go into the corporate world after my schooling. I have been in the corporate world for about two years now and feel it's time to switch to a more comfortable work life. As much as I can be flexible to work in the corporate environment, I do not see myself running a corporate firm one day nor do I see myself working in the corporate world for long. I am not an entrepreneur like my sister, I like to see myself more like an investor as I would prefer investing on an idea that shows potential than trying to make something work. But then this only means I would need to be rich to be at that level. And it's no news that getting rich in the corporate world as an employee is nearly impossible plus I don't even see myself as one.

I remember many years ago as a teenager, I would tell my mum I didn't like the idea of working in an office when she told me one day I would grow up and have my own company. The idea of having my own company is okay, but where I often challenge is where she says I would have a lot of staff working under me. That is where I draw the line. I don't like the idea of people working under me or me being a boss everyone would have to say yes to. For me, it feels like a burden I don't want to bear and now that I have seen for myself just how much of a burden it is to make things work and be the one making the decisions and calling all the shots, it's not the kind of life I want for myself. Plus I plan on settling down soon, I do not see myself being the kind of man who is always working with no time to spend on family. So the only thing I can do is find ways to make money, and find ways to invest the little I have wisely so I can one day become a big investor.

At the moment I'm learning about trading and the stock market, I'm also looking to learn as much as I can about other forms of investments and businesses unlike last year when I majorly focused on skills. The thing with me is my interest can easily shift, so I do not have the patience to start small and watch things grow. Instead, I would prefer to invest in something someone with the interest and passion is ready to grow. This way I would be able to help others fulfill their dreams while I make more money and fulfill my dreams. I tested it out when my sister came to live with me last year with the intention of going back to school. I noticed she was more interested in business and I thought instead of spending money on her schooling and bearing the financial burden, why not invest in her passion believing that she would uphold it with her life.

I gave her a total of 170,000 naira to start something small, and right now she's doing so well for herself expanding little by little. This made me decide to find ways to make money so I could find others to invest in. I know investments are risky as I could lose everything in the process. But all these years I've learned a thing or two about investing wisely and spotting a gold mine in disguise. I know this is a skill that would surely grow with time, so I would start training it now so that I can develop it in time. In addition I love the idea of making money from the comfort of my home. I remember my mum being fed up with my staying at home when I was still with them and trying to start freelancing, I was seen as lazy by my parents because they believed nothing good can come from working from home and I am still on a mission to prove them wrong 😂.

The stock marekt is tough I work and Trade I don't think I could just trade. If you are goign to try you'll need at least 1 million usd to be able to limit your risk and make a living.

Oh wow, yeah I know this, so what I wish to do is build my income to that level while I learn. Since you trade there, if you will I would love to learn anything I could learn about building my finances up to that level. Even if I don't achieve it this year, I just wish to be on the right track.

There's a risk with investing in people, and it can end up being a huge mistake especially if they're not trust worthy. But then, thats where contracts and guarantors come in. It does make sense though, I'm sure you'll succeed in this.
