Delicious dessert made with semolina and coconut.

Hello friends.How are you all? I hope you are all doing great. I am also doing well and enjoying the holidays with my child. Today, I am here with another dessert recipe for you. This time, I will be making a sweet dish using semolina and coconut. The best part is that you can prepare and enjoy it in just 30 minutes.

So, let’s find out how to make it. Here are the ingredients you will need

Ingredients✅

🍀- Semolina: 1 cup (100 grams)
☘️- Coconut: 1/2 cup (about 50 grams)
☘️- Sugar: 1 cup (about 100 grams)
☘️- Cashews and almonds: 4-5
☘️- Coconut milk: 250 grams
🍀- Cardamom: for flavor (to be added to the syrup)
🍀-peanut oil

Method✅

1.First, roast the semolina in a pan over low heat until it turns light golden and starts to emit a pleasant aroma. Then, in the same pan, lightly roast the coconut, being careful not to let it burn.add the coconut milk and ground cashews and almonds to the roasted mixture, stirring well. Then turn off the heat.

2.In another pan, mix the sugar with a little water to make a syrup. Once the sugar has completely dissolved and the syrup reaches a one-thread consistency, add the cardamom and bring it to a boil.

Now that the semolina mixture has cooled slightly, spread it on a plate to set. Remember, if the semolina mixture cools down too much, it won't set properly, so spread it while it's still slightly warm.

Cut it into pieces of your desired shape.

  1. Heat a pan and add peanut oil. Fry the cut pieces until they are golden brown.

Once fried, dip the pieces in the syrup, ensuring they are well coated. Repeat this process for all the pieces.

Now, delicious semolina and coconut sweet is ready. Serve and enjoy.

This dessert looks enough light I never use semolina but seems good for cooking sweets.
