Ube Halaya

A fish shape fresh from the tin mold ready to be baked. That is what this drawing I made looks to me. It is an ube halaya kind of sweet treat that I am most familiar with. Something like this is always present on our table on any celebratory occasion like a fiesta, birthday etc. I think the color used by our challenge host @theithei looks yummy and I could not resist and create a food related drawing. That color is my inspiration mostly on why I made a fish ube halaya as my entry for the Doodle Magic Drawing Challenge. I remember I also made something similar to this in the past which I attached below

I had not been drawing recently and the reason why I uploaded this orange fish is to compare and remind me that I need to keep practicing. I must admit the orange fish looks more polished and detailed. Should I have more time on my hands I am sure that I can do the same. Thank you for dropping by why not give this challenge a try?
