SPS & DEC | The Top Traded assets of Hive are Now Live on LeoDex

Hi everyone! If you visit Hive Engine, you will see that the tokens with the biggest swap volume are from the game Splinterlands. Now, we have them on LeoDex, allowing players and other investors to trade the tokens SPS and DEC for other L1 tokens.

In this clip:

  • SPS and DEC enter LeoDex
  • The Splinterlands community is very active in moving assets in and out of Hive
  • Every dollar traded on LeoDex results in two dollars of volume, as it is swapped through the LEO / Swap.Hive pools and the LEO / CACAO pool
  • Currently, the imbalance of the pools can be leveraged to swap at a profit
  • The goal is to achieve a depth in the pools that allows for better price efficiency
  • Being the most traded Hive tokens, SPS and DEC could exponentially increase the swap volume on LeoDex

Right now, the focus of both Inleo and LeoDex is on stability, but we also prioritize the incorporation of SPS and DEC, which have just gone live, and you can now start testing it.

The Splinterlands community is constantly trading assets in and out of Hive, a volume that mostly goes to CEXs. If we could capture it, the swap volume on LeoDex would grow exponentially.

For every dollar traded on LeoDex, we generate two dollars of swap volume since it moves through both the LEO/SwapHIVE pool and the LEO/CACAO pool. The current imbalance in these pools presents a golden opportunity for profit through strategic swaps.

We're setting our sights on deepening pool liquidity to enhance price efficiency. The more the pools are used, the more revenue is generated, which in turn goes into deepening the pools. So, using LeoDex now is helping you, Leo, and Hive in the long run.

I've been personally thnking of of leo-themed card on Splinterlands. The collab between these two communtiies would be big for Hive.

Are you planning on working with PeakD to add Leodex to their route tool? It's a Godsend For those of us who find it challenging to work out the most efficient way to move tokens in and out. If Leodex is shown there to be the most efficient route that would give me more confidence to use it.

I don't play Splinterlands, but it sure was insightful to learn a little about SPS and DEC. More importantly, though, is how cool it is to see how InLeo is not only just trying to fine-tune Leodex's pool functions and stability, but also expanding by making SPS and DEC inclusive.

This integration of SPS and DEC and LeoDex can be viewed as one of the biggest asset addition to this fresh DEX. SUrely, the volumes would grow and it's now possible to buy SPS without KYC as obtainable in CEXes.

With this integration, SPS may not be going to Binance sooner. I wish the SPL team think of adding more to the SPS pool on LeoDex.

This is huge!

A massive achievement!

  • My heart dances at the thought of the one million plus accounts on Splinterlands, the largest dapp on hive, the two largest L2 tokens in trading volume on hive, but also traded on binance for bitcoin, ether, usdt and now all can be done on leodex in one click.
  • The long journey under taken by many players to get money out or into the game has been shortened to a single step.
  • This is so amazing, that I wrote a post with a lot of the resources embedded in it to make it easy for people to watch all the videos from the community docs and your last three videos explaining this huge event in one place.
  • Its over 1200 words already and about ten videos, so a work in prohress, but ready to publish and I will fix bugs or correct mistakes as they are pointed out. link
