Our Most Valuable Liquidity Pool So Far: The LEO / CACAO Pool
Hi, everyone! With the launch of LeoDex, we've deployed our most valuable pool yet: the LEO/CACAO pool. Listing LEO on Maya has positioned us well to leverage what they are building, as well as what is coming on THORChain. For this reason, we are looking forward to move the Leo Geyser to this pool.

The Leo Geyser was built when we listed on Uniswap and only had the wLEO / ETH pool. It was valuable then, but currently, our most valuable pool is the LEO / CACAO pool, so it makes sense to move those rewards to it. It’s likely that CACAO would outperform ETH in the long run.
There are many ways the $LEO token captures value, and you can see them on https://leodex.inleo.io/general/leo-token. We are creating the best product possible to gain and scale our user base.
We are still below the expectations of the liquidity we would like to see in this pool, which is why we are moving the Geyser there and targeting not only Hive users but also Maya users to become liquidity providers.
In this same spirit, if you buy Leo Premium, you are actually providing liquidity by proxy, since all the earnings from premium are used to buy LEO and pool it. By getting Premium, you are getting all the benefits of the service while helping our economy. It’s a win-win situation.

I agree that tokenomic of paying inflation to that pool is a strategy from the early days of decentralized finance, and history has shown us it does not sustainable add value to the token, as the inflation is sold into other tokens and creates selling pressure on the price. Reducing token inflation to a low percentage and providing use cases on a larger platform then our own, and paying the liquidity providers with tokens other then our own.
