In-person Onboarding Events Sponsored by Inleo

Hey, everyone! Onboarding new users can be approached from different angles, and one strategy we're trying right now is hosting in-person events. These events allow us to show people what INLEO can do for them and guide them through their first steps.

In this clip:

  • In-person events to onboard new users
  • Stickers to engage users from different localities
  • Testing models for scalability
  • If these ideas work as intended, even a 10% retention rate will make the acquisition cost per user worth the investment

Interacting with potential users in person helps us onboard communities with shared niches and a strong motivation to stay active from the start.

Having a conversation over food and drinks, in a comfortable venue, sponsored by INLEO, we'll create the account live, get them to interact, and explore the platform. We'll begin with our team and then invite other community leaders to join and host similar events.

The estimated cost to acquire a user is up to $30. If we can run these low-cost events, get attendees to sign up, stay active, and refer others, it will not only be cost-effective but also foster a strong sense of community.

This is one sure onboarding initiative Khal, well done to you and your team. Moreso, the new users could even go on to make their introductory post on the spot, we also get to have live feedback on their first attempt navigating Inleo. Then everyone once in a while, they could come together again to share their growth and progress.

In-person onboarding? We do this almost every day at @krolestwo. Creating an account is very easy. The real challenge is getting people to start being active and not stop after a month. If there is no local community it is extremely difficult.

That's definitely the challenge, retention and getting them interested to engage and post. I think localized events or like weekly activities with Hive related is needed to keep them interested and familiarized themselves with the whole ecosystem.

I don't think in-person onboarding is a good thing, it's still better to use online.

Social media, post persuasive posts, engage, invited, onboard, make some activities to make them active.

Then congrats, you onboarded a person!
