THORChain University comes from the need of the community to learn about crypto and the protocol in an organized way. Baloney tells us how the idea of initiating an education program targeted a really small audience that ended up being thousands of users, revealing the actual need for something like this to happen.

He comes from a traditional educational background that translates well into educating in the crypto world. It takes patience to teach people from around the world, who are so different and ask many questions. It also helps to have a team that comes from around the world as well.

The learning program includes all the projects in the THORChain ecosystem. All the front-ends, wallets, block explorers, etc., take part because they want to help and build.

We also talked about other strong points of THORChain, such as the Lending protocol, discussing its pros and risks. We touched a little on the friendly fork of Maya and the relationship both protocols maintain, with a common vision against CEXs. Additionally, we got a sneak peek into the Learn2earn program, which will teach from basic knowledge about the protocol to highlighting all the projects and covering more complex and technical topics.
