“QUICK TOUR IN OUR SIMPLE ABODE”

Hello Hivers, it’s me again Jess, your momma Boholana who loves exploring new things. For today's blog I will tour you all outside our little home.

Despite the tiny size of our house, we have a large land and fence, which is a great advantage because it allows us to produce a lot of veggies and other plants.

We have a lot of flowers, generally green ones, and I have a bougainvillea that I just planted. Even a tiny house appears nicer when it is surrounded by plants.

In addition to flowers, fruits and vegetables will undoubtedly continue to exist. We need to grow rambutan, lansones, and mulberries. In addition, we have bananas, mangoes, guavas, pineapple, jackfruit, lemon, rose apple or what we call “syzygium aqueum”, dwarf coconuts, and siniguelas.

We have vegetables like eggplant, spinach, and onions in addition to fruits. Even though it's a tiny one, having our own vegetable garden helps us avoid buying more from the market. If we have our own plants and are certain that they are truly fresh, we can save even more money.

In front of the house, there is a cassava plant as well. Additionally, I planted a dragon fruit when the pandemic was at its worst.

Naturally, domestic pigs will continue to exist. In order to have something to roast for the upcoming town festival, pigs must be cared for. Taking care of it yourself is less expensive than purchasing it. We have also woods for us not to buy anymore.

We will be able to sow corn and other vegetables again next year, which will help us save more money on household bills and produce more pigs that we can sell when we need it.

I hope you like reading my blog and viewing the images from our modest home. Till the next time 😊
