It's funny how people who are considered the true greats since time immemorial have always emphasized that action speaks louder than voice, yet, even as we are here in this modern era, many people's action does not have any alignment with the words they speak. It's like having a 'security dog' that only barks without biting.
Do you think anyone will care about the endless barking of that kinda dog?
I don't think so!
Let's have a very brief chat about words and action.
Abraham Lincoln made it clear that action speaks louder than voice. Pablo Picasso also said that action is the foundational key to all success.
Interesting, right? I genuinely believe both statements to be true and we need to start putting these into practice if we want to stand a chance of turning our dreams and wishful thinking into reality.
Do you have a project you want to run?
Do you have a topic you want to write about?
Regardless of what you've been planning to do, there always comes a time to take action. This has to be the moment that every one of us takes a good look at ourselves and checks if we've been doing a good job of matching our words with action.
This is a defining moment and I don't think you need any convincing before you start taking steps in the right direction.
Have you tried to understand why some people take so much time to plan and then take twice the time to say things they want to do, but when it comes to taking action, they start delaying the whole process? Maybe there is a sort of phobia that stops people from backing up their plans and speech with action. Or, it could just be laziness in full display.
This reminds me of a situation in the past when I spent so much time listening to people talk about how much they've always wanted to explore the opportunities in Crypto. Their words were so convincing that I decided to take them under my wings. As the journey started, only a handful of them got to act by their words. The few that took action are already sharing their success story.
Speak all you want. Dream all you want. Have as many plans as possible. But, always back it up with action.

Yeah. Exactly! Action is very important and shouldn't be taken for granted. You made a very valid point here. A word that isn't matched with action will easily fade away.
In the map to success, Action is the most critical move towards achieving set goals. It never matters until you do something about it.

I've been a victim of this so many times that now I just don't like talking about things, I just act.
The thing is we have everything planned out with our words but to put them in action, we have nothing planned out.
This is a really timely post I guess, now is a time to face the challenge of engaging with as many people as possible, than just knowing you should.
Good luck in the challenge, you are doing really well, seeing how engaged you are with other things but still try to keep up with the challenge very well.
Nice! I believe many of us have similar experience of procrastinating in the past. We may have a very nice plan in our head but when it comes to taking the right action, we become invisible and claim to be waiting for the perfect timing.

What's the use of drawing out a map if you're not going to take action. Everything Always leads up to that moment where action has to be take place. Without action there's surely no reaction. If you want things to change for you, you have to act and work towards getting the desired rewards ..
I've been in situations where I just talk about the things I want to do, sometimes I set goals but end up not doing anything. Sometimes procrastination and laziness is the worst killers and then add fear.

I concur! we shouldn't allow procrastination, laziness or fear to get in the way of things we are planning to do. If a play just remains as a plan without being backed by action, that plan will be considered useless.
We've got got to take the right steps towards backing up our plans with action.

Hmm! Reminds me of the popular Igbo title, "The talker and the doer". I wish I could write it in Igbo language 😜😜 but it's used as an encomium for those who talk and do what they say. Do my words match my action? I've had situations where they did and also situations where they did not because of one or two reasons but just like you've said, I'll try my best to make sure that I just don't speak but accompany it with action.
