The golden stories of yesteryears
Woven in magical monochrome shades
The swirling spells
Capture the images of olden times
Every picture is timeless
Narrating a tale deep and precious
Like gazing into a window of memories

May secrets of old unfold onto my thighs
Through the shades of grey
I must gaze
Beholding whispers of a bold history
Each snap captures hidden emotions
Grayscale prints revealing mysteries
Of the past worlds

The black and white images
Bring to fore the sweetest nostalgia
Echoing the charms of simplicity and love
Of a time I wish to visit
To be a part of forgotten chapters
Awakening them to the present
Making these monochrome snaps timeless

I like the atmosphere of vintage nostalgia that this poem evokes. Someone once said that all stories have already been written, and maybe that's why old ones still resonate with us today.
