The maidens' dance around a blazing bonfire
A magical fireplace
Where the flames enchant
Twirling the maidens in circles
Their hearts almost bursting
In an entrancing spell
That stokes their desire for a place
A fantasy where their dreams come true
Their innocence yielded
In exchange for beauty and wealth

The lands must prosper
In an unending circle of custom
At the dawn of their womanhood
Their smiles like glowing embers
The elders holding the reins
Release the young maidens
Watching them gently sway and whirl
Becoming the music, the fire and the night
Lost in an enchanting space of magic
And hopes and dreams
For just one night
As the day welcomes them into womanhood.
