¡Tenía mucho tiempo que no publicaba por aquí! Y me pareció una excelente ocasión para hacerlo ahora que mi hijo está muy ansioso por compartirles cómo se ve con sus nuevos lentes.
Ha habido muchos cambios en mi vida últimamente, y sin duda la vista de mi hijo y la mía han sido de los más importantes. Me han llenado de mucha preocupación, pero estoy muy contenta de que al fin mi pequeño tenga sus lentes y estemos activos cuidando de su salud visual.

It's been a long time since I've posted here! And it seemed like a great time to do so now that my son is very anxious to share with you how he looks with his new glasses.
There have been a lot of changes in my life lately, and without a doubt my son's and my eyesight have been among the most important. They have filled me with a lot of worry, but I am so happy that my little boy finally has his glasses and we are actively taking care of his visual health.

Sé lo difícil que es este cambio, especialmente cuando desde pequeño hay que usar una fórmula un poco alta. Sabía que mi hijo necesitaba lentes porque ciertas acciones y comentarios que hacía eran muy parecidos a los míos a su edad. Aunque muchos me decían que no era nada, no quise ignorar estas señales que me tenían tan preocupada.
Así que esta semana fuimos a diferentes diligencias, consulta y a mandar a hacer sus lentes.
¡Ayer nos llegaron los lentes y vaya que le quedaron hermosos! Siempre le decimos lo galán que le quedan para darle seguridad y sobre todo hacerle sentir que de verdad es algo bueno para él. Lo mejor es ver su reacción a cómo ve todo con ellos, la claridad y todo lo que conlleva el ver mejor. Pero sinceramente, le quedaron preciosos, se le ve una carita de bebé niño súper intelectual.
I know how difficult this change is, especially when you have to wear a slightly higher formula from a young age. I knew my son needed glasses because certain actions and comments he made were very similar to mine at his age. Although many told me it was nothing, I didn't want to ignore these signs that had me so worried.
So this week we went to different errands, consultation and to have his glasses made.
Yesterday we got the glasses and boy did they look beautiful! We always tell him how handsome they look on him to give him confidence and above all to make him feel that it is really something good for him. The best thing is to see his reaction to how he sees everything with them, the clarity and everything that comes with seeing better. But honestly, they look beautiful on him, he has a super intellectual baby face.
Siempre voy a estar ahí para hacerlo sentir bien, para recordarle lo importante, valioso, inteligente y hermoso que es. Cuando yo usé lentes por primera vez tenía su edad y puedo asegurar que fue una de las peores cosas que me pasaron en la vida, pero para él no será así.

I will always be there to make him feel good, to remind him how important, valuable, smart and beautiful he is. When I wore glasses for the first time I was his age and I can assure you that it was one of the worst things that happened to me in my life, but for him it won't be like that.

Darle seguridad a los ninos es muy importante como padres debemos mantenerlos siempre con su auto estima alta, los lentes le quedaron bellos, parece todo un galan! Dios lo bendiga y que bueno que te preocupaste por colocarles sus lentes desde ya protegiendo su visión, Saludos
