It has been a while since I published a post for #Index4Index. Over the past few weeks, I have been motivating and pushing myself just a little bit more to reach out of my comfort zone and achieve my goals.

So, in today’s post, as I find it difficult to pick one quote. I have chosen more than one quotes that complement each other perfectly. But the one that resonates with me the most at this phase is, “A year from now you may wish you had started today.” ― Karen Lamb.

It is true for few things in my life, I have looked back and thought to myself, only if I had started a year ago or only if I had started last week, or only if I had continued without giving up, or I wish I were more disciplined to include that in my routine. Whatever may be the goal, and whatever the excuse might be, it is a note to myself to stay committed without stressing too much about the results.

“You must do the things you think you cannot do.” ― a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt goes hand in hand with the quote by Karen Lamb. Just when I feel overwhelmed or demotivated, it is a simple reminder for me to simply carry on doing the thing that I think I cannot do in my head. I constantly push myself to break away from the boundaries and beliefs that I create for myself and to be more dedicated to my goals.

One thought that helps me to keep going is that irrespective of whether I do something or not, time moves on. So, I might as well, do something with the time that I have and utilize my time more efficiently. When I look back at a week, a month, a year or even a decade, I can look back at memories made as I try something different and know that the time has not been wasted.
