Fasting

Welcome to my weekly prompt on the healthy bee weekly prompt.
The topic is a very wonderful one because a lot will be learnt from i and I believe fasting have much benefits in the body and also that is if you can do it , but if you know can not do it , you have to leave it , do not engage yourself in it.
Reason i am saying this is because some people are medically down , they have health issues that can not allow them to fasting and they know about it , despite their health conditions , they still engage themselves in fasting.
Sometimes this can cause us much more problems than we expect .
Example is some that have stomach ulcer , is not advisable you fast because when you do fasting, because it affects the ulcer and make makes it to disturb you.
Fasting is not bad but consider your health status first and work according to your body health fitness before you cause yourself another thing.

Fasting, though some religious believe that is as not eating and engaging yourself in prayers, and it can be between you and your God or group of people and their God, that's also okay as fasting is not eating food.
But to my own understanding fasting is act of not eating food for some couple of hours , for example a patient going for a surgical operation in the theatre will go into fasting for some hours.

Fasting is very much okay to the body according to science, but the experience i have witnessed made me i don't engage in anything fasting, unless it is a church fasting, I can try and do that , especially if it is a fasting of maybe 6 to 6 ,i will do the one i can do , if i can do 6 to 12 i will do it and end mine there.

I had this experience whereby there is this woman that joined others in doing fasting and she has stomach ulcer and she did this fasting without considering her health condition if she can really do that or not ,
Along the fasting she had crisis , she was very weak and could not hold herself so she was rush and admitted in the hospital and this is where it was discovered that it was the fasting that caused her the ulcer crisis.

Fasting is good or our system but once it starts to put our health at risk we need to stay away from it. Thanks for sharing with us.
