Wait, Obama is now Rapping
This has to be the coolest thing I've seen about politics this year. A lot has been happening with the elections from attempted assassination of Trump to Biden being replaced by Kamala Harris but I'm not a politics guy so I wasn't really paying attention.
However I'm a music celebrity guy and when I heard Eminem at Detroit I paid attention. At that rally, the former President Barack Obama clearly had some fun rapping the start of Eminem’s song "Lose Yourself."
The rally was actually for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and as usual they'll invite some celebrities that have influence to speak on their behalf so they can get more people voting and Eminem came there.
Eminem is from Detroit and he had the honor of introducing Obama to the crowd.
He talked about how important it was for the people of Detroit to vote especially in Michigan and he also said that Kamala Harris stands for protecting people’s rights and freedom. I don't know how true that is because wasn't she they same person stopping people from coming through the border? Yeah maybe that was good, haha.
Obama made a joke and I hope he wasn't actually serious about it, he said even though he’s done many rallies, he was nervous following Eminem to the stage. The surprise was when he started rapping the famous lines, "Palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy" from Eminem's Lose Yourself song. I could have sworn he had to rehearse that before coming, there's no way he listens to rap music, or maybe he's black after all,.no offence with a.due respect of course.
Obama also said that he thought Eminem would perform and he would just jump in with the rap. I love him for that now
