The 2025 Primavera Sound Festival

The news is already out, The 2025 Primavera Sound Festival will happen in Barcelona from June 5th to June 7th at Parc Del Fòrum. It's going to be a three day thing and I'm going to miss it unfortunately.

I wouldn't have cared about it but the headline performers include Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX, and Chappell Roan, and that's some of my favorite musicians so yeah I'm going to miss an opportunity of a lifetime just because I can't fly there from where I'm at.

But there will be other artists playing, they'll hav LCD Soundsystem, FKA Twigs, Fontaines DC, Haim, Clairo, and Turnstile. That's not all, many more acts like Wet Leg, Beach House, Beabadoobee and even Denzel Curry are also part of the lineup.

If you're a fan and wish to go, you can register for presale tickets in about 4 days time. Presale is from October 28 at 11 a.m. (CET) but the general sales will begin on October 29 at the very same time. If you want the three-day pass, it'll cost you $286.

The festival has also held events in other cities in the past years, they've done it in Los Angeles, São Paulo and Buenos Aires, but the Latin American shows won’t happen this year.

Another Primavera Sound event in Porto, Portugal is set for June 12 to 14 next year but the lineup for that show hasn't been shared yet so I got nothing to say about that.
