Dua Lipa and Elton John Performed at Royal Albert Hall
I'm not going to lie and say Dua Lipa or Elton John is my favorite, I already said it was JB, but I watched Dua Lipa’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
This was simply awesome. Musicians should do live orchestras more because it kind of gives pop music more depth and she nailed this one.
There was a 53-piece orchestra playing Dua Lipa's "Levitating" and "Don’t Start Now" beats. The made the whole song become something very new and I didn't expert the track to sound this good with orchestra.
So why don’t more pop artists do this?. probably because they don't have real life voice for this auto tune is taking over everything, haha. This is just my opinion but the orchestra sounds better than the studio recordings.
Then Elton John came to collab with her on stage. I've had more respect for Dua Lipa because of you can get a legend like Elton in stage with you, you've made it in music.
I remember hearing that song “Cold Heart” in 2021, it was pretty good but not exactly the kind of music vibe I follow. Seeing it live changed my mind a little, it's cool.
And she also performed "Sunshine" by Cleo Sol. Didn't know she was going to do that at all but a good song choice. You would have to be versatile in music to choose such a song knowing her usual genre. Versatility is a sign of a true musician and she earned my respect with that concert.
Let me drop a link to the concert on YouTube so you can watch.
