MY TRIP TO MINNA
Hello people,so today I'm going to be sharing with you ,my experience while travelling from Lagos to Minna. The morning we were meant to travel, we woke up very early so as to get to the bus on time ,we bought some snacks before finally getting into the bus and ready to take off. Normally I'll sleep for like more than half of the journey but this time I didn't sleep because I wanted to see everything going on.
As soon as the journey started we branched a filling station to buy fuel into the car then the journey began. The road was free and everything was going well. While we were on the road what was on my mind honestly was to buy bread ,the reason being that my mum packed boiled eggs for us ,which we were meant to buy bread on the road to eat with the egg ,so I was just keeping my eyes open looking for fresh bread😂, Although my aunty said we'll see around Oyo,they sell bread, wara( soyabeans cake), dodo ikire( it's plantain ) ,I finally found bread and bought and ate with my egg.
Everything was still going well, not until we reached Niger state (around that Bida side) ,there was hold up there and well a lot of trucks , As we were going ,they were these people ,I don't know what to call them ,they were looking like Fulanis, they kept sticks like big sticks to block cars from passing, Their plan was to not let people pass without getting something from them and the worst part was that they were much in front ,like if you pass one you'll still meet others in front,we passed by like 5 or more that day,I was honestly annoyed but I couldn't snap them or video them cause I care about my life and they were holding cutlass. This was literally the first time I was seeing something like this throughout the times I've travelled to Minna from Lagos,I was shocked, annoyed and also terrified. Although we passed all of them we didn't give any of them money😂,well I think that was thanks to the driver as He was strong-headed and acted like he knew them and like that they eventually let us pass. I was so happy and relieved when we finally left that place.
After we passed Bida ,the road was back to being free again ,I saw a lot of trees, grasses, crops ,plants in general and this made me think Nigeria is truly blessed with good things ,I remember seeing an anthill and thinking it was a stick with red cloth on it(don't ask me how I thought that😂) , I also saw Scarecrows ,Scarecrows are like dummies made with sticks, As the name implies scarecrow ,it is used to scare crows from coming to feed on their crops that's why you mostly see scarecrows on fields.I couldn't get good pictures of the scarecrow as the car was moving fast but I'll post a picture of a scarecrow so you'll know how it looks.

After the seeing of scarecrows and fields ,trees and plants ,we finally got to Minna. Surprisingly we didn't get there as late as I expected and yes one thing I noticed in Minna is there are no buses in Minna, like no bus at all except you're travelling, unlike in Lagos,They use kekenape(tricycle) and okada(motorcycle) as their main means of transportation .Minna is a really nice place to be and I hope you enjoyed reading the post.

The trip was interesting, I think you had a great experience.
Yes I did,thank you for stopping by😊
Hello there! I’m not a big fan of traveling. Sometimes, instead of tracking for hours, I wish I had superpowers to just teleport. I understand how traffic can be- it is one of the reasons why I don’t like traveling.
I’ve never been to Minna, but I guess it is a cool and beautiful place with the images I’ve seen.
Thanks for sharing.
You wish you could teleport 😂..that'll be cool actually it'll save time and stress too but it's all just imagination 😩....yeah Minna's nice..thanks for stopping by😊!
