Hairy fig
This is a Hairy fig. This is a common in our region. I found this name by searching on Google. This is the most common sight to see on village roads or ponds is the fig at present. A pond at the back of our house has yielded an abundance of figs. In particular, there is a medium-sized tree and that tree has produced a large number of figs. Basically, this tree produces a lot of fruit every year. Although the tree is currently half-fallen into the pond, much of the tree's roots have gone into the water. They are a very useful fruit. And it is a fruit full of many nutrients.
As far as I remember when I was very young there was a very big fig tree in our area. The tree produced very large figs. As children we used to collect figs from that tree and eat them mixed with salt and pepper. To be honest, I enjoyed the moment. And although they looked a bit chewy, they tasted great with salt and pepper. But for a long time I didn't see the land tree in our area but now a days we can see this tree in many places besides the back of our house and those trees are producing a lot of figs.
But honestly there is no demand for them in our rural areas. Many people think that eating them is not beneficial or it can be harmful to eat them. Moreover, many people know them but neglect them. But we know that it is a very nutritious fruit. And it is quite useful. However, the past few days when I've been walking past our backyard, I've been pretty happy to see figs on this tree. However, there is no opportunity to collect figs from the tree as it is mostly submerged in water. I mainly photographed the tree and the fruits using zoom.
