MWM|| TULIP BOTTLE HOLDER

Greetings my dear creative friends, it is a pleasure to greet you again through this medium. I hope you are well and all your projects are materializing. Today I want to share with you a project that is also part of my line of bags and wallets with floral motifs. This time it is a bottle or thermos holder with details of tulips in three different colors.

Yesterday I went to a church activity and I took one of my knitted purses with me. The purse that best matched my outfit was a small purse and it did not fit my water bottle, so I left the bottle because I did not want to carry it in my hand. However, I later regretted leaving it behind because the activity lasted longer than expected and I was without water all that time. Going for long periods without hydrating myself gives me severe headaches, so I always carry a bottle of water everywhere I go. When I got home I started looking for ideas to knit me a little bag to carry my bottle in a comfortable and pretty way. That's how I found this model that I thought was great because it has tulip motifs.

I had knitted this tulip pattern before in a small sachet, but this time the project is bigger and I was able to make three rows of tulips in three different colors. For the base color I chose a dark green so it wouldn't get dirty so easily.

I worked all the dark part in low stitches to make the fabric firmer and also to make the tulips stand out a little more, since the tulips are knitted in high stitches.

When I finished the whole bottle sleeve, I knitted a thick but not so long handle. I sewed the handle to the sleeve and attached some small decorative buttons. I made this sleeve to fit the mineral water bottle, but it will also fit a medium-sized thermos.

I was really pleased with the final result of this project, because it was just the way I wanted it and because it matches perfectly with all the other accessories that have floral details. I hope you liked my project today. Thank you all for reading, greetings and blessings.
