This is a simple, but very cute summer top, ideal to wear to the beach or to the pool.

It's been a while since I've knitted clothes, but since I'm planning a trip to the beach, I decided to knit this summer top. Here in my country we have had some really hot days; it hasn't rained for several weeks now and the heat is getting more and more intense, so much so that it reminds me of the summer in Lima. That's why we decided to plan a trip to the beach and enjoy these summer days before the rains come to stay.

I chose this cute fuchsia color because I have a short that matches perfectly with this color.
It's the first time I knit a piece like this for me. I have already knitted some blouses or crop tops, but this is the shortest one I knit.

This type of top is very simple and easy to knit, since they have a very basic pattern. Simply, we must have the measurement of the cup and choose the type of stitch. In my case I chose to knit with high stitches, but you can also knit with low stitches so that the fabric is more dense. Two cups of the same size should be knitted and then joined in the center.

With the cups together, start working on the contour design. There are many designs for tops like this one, it all depends on how low-cut you prefer it. I just went with the flow and knit without any particular design. Simply, 5 rows of high stitches with gaps between them.

Para finalizar, tejí un cordón para sujetar la prenda al cuello, y otro cordón para sujetarse en la espalda. La verdad es que quería tejer algo muy sencillo, ya que no disponía de material suficiente como para hacer algo más elaborado. Este top lo tejí en tan solo una tarde, lo que me pareció increíble porque generalmente no suelo tejer tan rápido.

I knitted this top in just one afternoon, which I found incredible because I don't usually knit so fast.
