MWM|| Scrunchie a Crochet tipo Dona 🍩

Blessed day to all my dear needleworkers. We are already starting a new month and that makes me think that the days are passing very fast and this year 2023 is already in the middle. There are many projects that I would like to develop, which fills me with energy and desire to continue working on my blog and my crafts.

Although this week I have taken a little rest due to my cervical discomfort, I decided to go back to the needles little by little, making small and simple projects, but that keep me active and happy. Yesterday I made this pretty scrunchie in the shape of a donut at the request of my daughter, who has been complaining a lot about the intense heat she feels in her classroom, so she asked me to knit her some pretty pigtails to match her school uniform.

Although this pattern is quite basic and simple, it is the first time I have made a scrunchie in this way. It is worked in a tubular fashion, knitting as many rounds as necessary to achieve the desired size of the scrunchie. The stitch I used was the stockinette stitch, since I tried it first with the garter stitch and the fabric was too tight.

One thing that surprised me is that this model of ponytail has a lot of material so that it can be very chubby and crinkly. I also noticed that it is better to weave them with a thin and light material so that they are more comfortable and not so heavy.

Aunque me gusta mucho como luce este tipo de coleta, creo que las que se trabajan con puntos altos son más rápidas y divertidas de tejer porque se puede hacer combinaciones de colores y, por otro lado, la scrunchie queda mucho más liviana, pero esto es solo mi punto de vista, cuéntame tú ¿qué opinas?.

Although I really like the way this type of ponytail looks, I think the ones that are worked with high stitches are faster and more fun to knit because you can make color combinations and, on the other hand, the scrunchie is much lighter, but this is just my point of view, tell me what do you think?
