MWM|| Probando nuevos patrones para nuevos proyectos. 🧶🧶

Hello, hello friends and colleagues of NeedleWorkMonday, I hope you are feeling well. Today I want to share with you a very simple but beautiful project. It is a circular crochet scarf very similar to a mandala. On Pinterest circular patterns abound, there are an infinite number of designs with really spectacular color combinations. When I saw all these designs, I remembered a project that I had in mind a long time ago and that I have not yet fully implemented. It is a tote bag style bag made of fabric but with crochet appliqués. These appliqués can be flowers, mandalas or granny squares.

Since this is a project that involves sewing, I have decided to start first knitting the appliques for the bags and then go shopping for the fabrics and ask my mom to help me sew the bags. It occurs to me that these bags can be a nice gift to give to my sisters and friends for Christmas. This little handkerchief that I show you today could be one of the first appliqués and I will be looking for more designs to replicate.

The pattern is quite simple to knit. There are only 8 rows and the stitches are very basic. The detail is in making a good choice of colors, on my part what I did was to replicate the colors of the reference image as close as possible.

El resultado final realmente me gustó mucho. Al ver el pañito terminado también se me ocurrió que se puede usar como un pequeño tapete o como un mándala para decorar. Quedé con muchas ganas de hacer más apliques de este tipo. Espero que a ustedes también les guste.

I really liked the final result. When I saw the finished handkerchief it also occurred to me that it could be used as a small mat or as a mandala to decorate. I really want to make more appliqués like this. I hope you like it too.
