Esta semana, me complace compartir con ustedes algunos recursos didácticos que he creado con la ayuda de algunas plataformas digitales con el fin de facilitar mi trabajo como docente y el aprendizaje de mis estudiantes.
En esta oportunidad, estudiaremos un poco de gramática y el tema tiene que ver con las preposiciones de lugar. Estoy seguro de que todas estas actividades se pueden ajustar para satisfacer las necesidades individuales de cada estudiante.
Hello dear educators and parents! I hope you are all enjoying your wonderful job of teaching the little ones at home. This week, I am pleased to share with you some didactic resources that I have created with the help of some digital platforms in order to facilitate my work as a teacher and the learning of my students.
This time, we will study a bit of grammar and the topic has to do with prepositions of place. I am sure that all these activities can be adjusted to meet the individual needs of each student.
Para iniciar la clase les hago una breve introducción sobre la función y el significado de las prepocisiones de lugar; les comparto la lamina con las imágenes y el vocabulario a estudiar; paso seguido practicamos la pronunciación varias veces hasta que los estudiantes se familiarizan con las nuevas palabras.
To begin the class I give a brief introduction about the function and meaning of prepositions of place; I share with them the slide with the images and the vocabulary to be studied; then we practice the pronunciation several times until the students are familiar with the new words.
Cuando se trabaja con el aspecto gramatical lo más recomendable es integrar las nuevas palabras en un contexto sencillo por medio de oraciones simples que los estudiantes puedan asimilar tanto el nuevo vocabulario como el significado de toda la oración y no palabras aisladas. Un ejercicio que me da muy buenos resultados es completar oraciones con opciones de selección múltiple, como las que les muestro en la imagen.
When working with the grammatical aspect, it is best to integrate the new words in a simple context by means of simple sentences so that the students can assimilate both the new vocabulary and the meaning of the whole sentence and not isolated words. An exercise that gives me very good results is to complete sentences with multiple choice options, like the ones shown in the image.

Para reforzar el aprendizaje trabajamos varias actividades interactivas en la plataforma de recursos educativos Wordwall.net. En este sitio web se encuentran una gran variedad de actividades en los que los estudiantes pueden poner en practica el vocabulario aprendido y competir con otros usuarios por estar en la tabal de clasificaciones, lo cual los motiva a realizar las actividades con mucha atención.
To reinforce learning, we worked on several interactive activities on the Wordwall.net educational resource platform. On this website there is a wide variety of activities in which students can practice the vocabulary learned and compete with other users to be on the leaderboard, which motivates them to perform the activities with great attention.
EDUCAPLAY
Otra actividad que le gusta mucho a los estudiantes y que me parece muy útil es relacionar columnas de imágenes con columnas de oraciones, de este modo se hace más divertido asociar el significado de las oraciones sin necesidad de hacer traducciones.
La mayoría de mis clases con niños se basan en completar actividades, ya que según mi experiencia y los resultados que logran mis estudiantes, mientras más practican y refuerzan el mismo tema con actividades diversas más rápido se apropian del lenguaje.

Another activity that the students really like and that I find very useful is to relate columns of images with columns of sentences, this way it becomes more fun to associate the meaning of the sentences without the need to do translations.
Most of my classes with children are based on completing activities, since according to my experience and the results achieved by my students, the more they practice and reinforce the same topic with different activities, the faster they appropriate the language.
