Visita al Primo enfermo en tiempo de Cuaresma!
**El miércoles 5 de marzo, nos encontramos con las tias y decidimos ir a visitar al primo que hacía más de veinte (20) días tuvo un accidente cerebro vascular a causa de una emoción muy fuerte (la muerte de un gran amigo).
Fue muy emotivo el encuentro hacía mucho que no lo veía. Entre, abrazos y sollozos las tias contaban sus experiencias al lado de él. Comentaron sobre la caída de un Majomo (árbol que al caerse le daban diferentes usos), está vez sería usado como escusao, para resguardo de las excretas. Que la casa estaba rodeada de matas de cacao, árboles de mango, guayaba, jobo amarillo y no podía olvidar la mata de cotoperi.
Recuerda cuando venían las fiestas del patrón. Nuestras madres nos compraban las mejores ropas. Y al pueblo venían los coleadores, colocaban un gran parque y los mejores grupos de salsa. Tiempos que no volverán, tiempos que no se olvidan. Primo debes mejorar. Te quiero mucho. La esposa nos brindó agua de papelón con limón con mucho hielo, para mitigar el calor.
/On Wednesday, March 5th, we met up with the aunts and decided to visit our cousin, who had suffered a stroke over twenty (20) days earlier due to a very strong emotion (the death of a close friend). The reunion was very emotional; I hadn't seen him for a long time. Amidst hugs and tears, the aunts recounted their experiences at his side. They talked about the fall of a Majomo (a tree that, when it fell, was used for various purposes), this time as a toilet, to shelter excrement. The house was surrounded by cacao trees, mango trees, guava trees, yellow jobo trees, and I couldn't forget the cotoperi tree. He remembers when the patron saint's day celebrations came. Our mothers bought us the best clothes. And the coleadores (cowboys) came to town, built a large park, and performed the best salsa bands. Times that will never return, times that will never be forgotten. Cousin, you must improve. I love you very much. The wife offered us papelón water with lemon and lots of ice to mitigate the heat.
