Today I want to try out Slido. Slido is an app that can be used for quizzes and users' interaction (similar to Kahoot), but it has a nice, juicy free edition :)

I have used and participated in polls, mainly online or during meet ups and it is a great way to keep your audience engaged, potentially also give away gifts to the winners.

For the participants, there is no need to sign up - only for the creators

After you sign up, you will need to reply to some questions and go on

This is what you can do with the free plan

Add up to 3 polls and 1 quiz with images, integrate slido with other work tools and share your results!

Shall we see this in practice?

Fill in the details and click on 'create slido'

When you click add new, you are asked to choose from all these options.
I will go for the 'quiz' option because this can also be done online at a specific time.

After you write the question & answers, you click on the correct answer(s)

Click on 'settings' to change timer and leaderboard options

After you are done, you simply click on 'present'

When users join, you can see the name they enter

The presenter has an easy dashboard where they can go to the next question using the arrow.

After the voting ends, you automatically see the leaderboard.

In my opinion it was a very easy to use app and I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking an easy app :)
