Skills and Sun Rays
Today I played chess. My partner was younger and skilled.
Can you guess who won?
I lost.
My colour was black and trust me, last time I touched chess was many many years ago
I was not sad or angry for losing, on the contrary, I was happy to be able to play again. I was even happy to remember most of the game rules
I think that when you learn a skill, even if you do not practice often, it’s memory comes back again in due time and when needed
This day should definitely be remembered
For a variety of reasons and for the lessons learned
Now I ll share a few shots of the impressive spot we were sitting at

So to recap my thoughts, we should never stop learning new skills, for they are forever carved in our mind.
They just need the right moment to shine
Just like the sun rays

Lovely. Welcome back at chess! I play every week. There's even a Hive tournament series, though that's not for me. I guess they are playing just now, if I'm not mistaken. It's every Friday.

Chess is a great sport... but what a spot to play it!!! The seaside in the background wouldn't let me pay enough attention to the game, it is too dreamy. :)

I haven’t played chess for years! Used to play chess a lot at school. It’s good for keeping the brain more alert! Nowadays I had no one to play chess with so
I forgot how to make my moves!
Maybe we can play together online :)

I would be quite erratic and unpredictable. The moves would take too much time! lol
