My first draft video for my course is now ready - using only free tools!
A few days ago I wrote here about my intentions to create a course about crypto - novices. People who are beginners and want to learn more about crypto, its technology and understand its importance.
I started doing some research and there is a lot to consider when starting a course. I have seen videos that mention that you need to research what is trending at the moment, where all the hype is, and to read reviews in order to create the perfect course. All this is true. It takes a lot of time to plan and create a successful course.
But for now, I want to have a chance to express my own opinion and my thoughts after all these years. I decided to keep things very simple, and I think that I managed to do it for this 'draft'
My first step was to create the script. I used https://hackmd.io
If I had a good mic, I would record my own voice - this time I decided to use a text to speech maker and I used the free version of: https://ttsmaker.com/
I tried out the text to video using capcut (but it never generated), invideo (but I did not like it) and then I decided to use canva's free version to create slides.
Besides, it is a course. It is supposed to have slides.
I uploaded to youtube, where you can see it with auto subtitles.
I also used the free version of veed.io to create automatic subtitles to the video, so that I can upload it to tiktok or to other platforms.
The most difficult issue I faced was to synchronize the audio with the slides. I think I have figured out a way to do it better. Let me know if you would like a full tutorial.
For now, I invite you to watch the 3-minute video (you can increase the speed to 2x to see it in half the time :)) and let me know your feedback on this.
I did not want to mention web3 yet in the first video - this is supposed to give an idea and a few definitions of terms such as bitcoin, blockchain, nfts, defi, metaverse etc.
That's it for now, thank you for your support!

Is it really Free to use as you mentioned above???
Yes, the ones mentioned are free to use (with certain restrictions)
Okay, thanks for sharing 😌😌
Its not so easy now to find completely free apps. They usually have a tiered pricing. For instance the text to speech that I mention, has free voices up to specific count of characters. But you can still create multiple audios and put them together.
It all depends on what you want to do
I'll do try... if I face any issue I'll ask you. I hope you won't mind, right?
I enjoyed watching the video till the end! Any newbie will be able to understand the core fundamentals of blockchain and crypto and its future potential, I think the latter is well highlighted and could spark interest to explore more about it.
Thank you!
There will be one video later for each of these sections mentioned in the course, and I will include further sources for reading and learning more - for the ones who want to move forward!
Right, a detailed dive into each section would be great!
You're most welcome :)
OMG Let me totally follow the course

Thank you! Please share your youtube link so that I can subscribe back to you :)
Oh ok dear but I'm really not interested in YouTube content... I'm just working extremely hard on Hive🥰 so I'll just be listening to your videos and teachings instead,🥰
Thank you my friend :)
Be well and say hi to your kitties for me!!
Absolutely they're literally asleep right now😂😂😂😂 one woke up and came for a cuddle and slept again 😂😂😂
This is the darker one, she was posing for her picture 😂😂😂
Thanks for posting this draft of your course—it's much more than presentation slides! Researching all the hype and what is trending at the moment is important if you want to write a popular course. It's very different if you want to write a course about your passions. Please let me know if you would like more detailed feedback and how you would like to receive it.
Also, thanks for the links to those useful tools.
Thanks for this
It was well explained
Good job!
I love this tutorial. I would like to see more.
