Almost Full Moon and a Red Car

Today I thought to take you all with me at another walk.
It is almost full moon, I wanted to do a photoshoot so I went to the beach for half an hour. And just before I left, it was when I saw it.

An almost full moon, still white on the sky.

Under the full moon’s glow, the ocean becomes a mirror, reflecting dreams, memories, and moments of calm

The moments spent were beautiful. I also saw a small red car (for the first time) and it was like it was there for a reason.

I hoped that I would soon see the almost full moon in all its glory.

And as the night progresses, lets see what the view around is.
A fisherman.

And then the moon!

"There’s something magical about the full moon lighting up the waves—a quiet power, eternal and serene."

If you would like to know more about Novembers moon, I asked ChatGPT for you!

November’s full moon, often called the Beaver Moon, has rich meanings and cultural connections. Here are some interesting facts about it:

  • The Beaver Moon Name: The November full moon is called the Beaver Moon in many parts of North America, inspired by Native American and early colonial names. This is because November was the time to set beaver traps before winter froze the rivers, ensuring a supply of warm furs.

  • Other Names: Other traditional names for November’s full moon include the Frost Moon, Mourning Moon, and Snow Moon—all reflecting the seasonal changes and preparations for winter.

  • Timing and Brightness: Since this full moon occurs as days grow shorter, it often appears especially bright against the dark autumn sky, providing a last big boost of nighttime light before winter.

  • A Moon of Transformation: November’s full moon is associated with the transition into winter, symbolizing transformation and introspection. It’s often a time for reflection on the year, letting go of what’s no longer needed.

  • Celestial Events: The Beaver Moon sometimes coincides with meteor showers, like the Taurids or Leonids, which peak in November, adding extra stargazing appeal to the month’s night skies.

  • Lunar Haloes: November’s chilly air sometimes creates icy halos around the full moon, a phenomenon caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere refracting moonlight, adding an ethereal glow to the night.

  • Impact on Tides: Like all full moons, the November full moon creates higher-than-usual tides, known as spring tides, with increased ocean levels and more dramatic tidal shifts.

This moon carries both practical and symbolic significance, as it signals the shift from harvest to the preparation for winter.

How about you;
Are you ready for winter already;

I hope you enjoyed the shots!

p.s. I have not yet learned to take photos during night. I really need to work on it!
