Beijing was host to the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. In the past 20 years, Beijing has developed rapidly in an all-round way. Now Beijing is a modern metropolis with charm of an ancient city in the East.

Being one of the most popular travel destinations in China, Beijing has a lot to offer. It has not only countless ancient palaces, imperial gardens, altars, temples, tombs and other historical and cultural sites, but also many picturesque natural scenic spots, elegant gardens and beautiful landscape. There is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that doesn't have at least some national historical significance! Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace , Tiananmen square.
