A Special Visitor in My Terrace Garden
Hey Everyone!!
Today, my terrace garden welcomed a surprise guest – a Carpenter bee! It was an exciting moment to see this buzzing creature flitting around my marigold flowers😍. The bee was busy collecting nectar, visiting each flower one by one. Its shiny black body and vibrant blue wings added a striking contrast to the bright orange marigolds.
I couldn’t help but admire its energy as it barely stayed on a flower for more than a few seconds. The loud humming sound from its wings was hard to miss, and it brought a lively buzz to my otherwise quiet terrace. Taking its picture was no easy task, as it was constantly on the move. But after several attempts, I managed to capture a few good shots that I’m thrilled to share.
This visit felt like a reward for my gardening efforts. It’s amazing to see how flowers can attract such beautiful creatures. Watching the Carpenter bee reminded me of how connected nature is and how even a small garden can support wildlife.
Now, I’m even more motivated to enhance my terrace garden. I dream of adding more colorful flowers that might attract butterflies and other insects. Seeing my plants bloom and attract visitors like this bee brings a sense of joy and fulfillment.
Gardening is not just about growing plants; it’s about creating a little space for life to thrive. Moments like these make all the effort worthwhile. I can’t wait to see who else might stop by in the future!
Hello friend! :)
I have never seen a bee like that! It looks very cool and almost looks like a robot bee. :D I am happy that you took these pics and shared it because I would never have been able to see a carpenter bee any other way. They don't have them where I am.
It's always great to see your posts and pics. So many colorful pics of plants and animals. I'm glad you're here on Hive and I hope to see lots more posts from you in 2025 and beyond! :)
Hey👋 dear...
This is what I found its name on Google. Initially, I thought it was a Bumblebee, but after a quick search on Google, I learned that while they resemble Bumblebees, Carpenter bees are different. What’s fascinating is that they make their nests by drilling holes in hard wood or plant stems, which is likely why they are called Carpenter bees.
I'm happy to share these pictures with you and will continue to share more and more☺️. Thank you so much for your warm wishes and for always encouraging and appreciating my blogs.
