We are currently experiencing a major global dilemma, wage inequality is something that affects the majority of the population, but it is something that we have some complicated points to debate, we can divide it into two situations in my opinion:

Firstly, equal pay among all workers in different professions is somewhat utopian in my opinion, as there are professions in which a person has to study for several years and acquire a lot of experience, in addition to specializing in the area, to earn the salary they need. arrived today, I think it would be unfair for someone who started today in the profession, for example, to earn the same salary as someone who has been working longer and sought improvement, as their dedication was recognized and they were awarded meritocracy.

In the same way, we cannot say that each profession is the same, some have greater risk and/or greater effort and as I mentioned previously this must have some premium due to the high responsibility.

But then we also have another point: would human beings be satisfied with everyone earning the same salary? I see it because I know people who only complain about getting the “same thing” as others and if they could they would try to harm others, which shouldn't happen, we should all think about growing and evolving as a unit, adding up and not decreasing.

However, we must also talk about equity, this still needs to be improved much more, over the last few years, a lot has been done to balance salaries between men and women, this is fair because if the person does the same job, there is no This is because the starting salary is lower.

But here comes the question, how to “fix” salaries and keep everyone satisfied?

I believe this is a question that has no correct answer, as we all want to raise our standards a little, yes some people reach a point where they are content with how much they earn, but many times these people are “surviving” and not living, as they often receive enough to support themselves and think that it is good and this is something personal and intimate for people, each person must follow the path that they feel most comfortable and happy with, sometimes it is better, for example, not to do “two working overtime” to spend those same two hours with your family, for example, that’s why I always say that time is the most valuable thing we have.

But I believe that those of us who are at HIVE and strive every day to evolve and grow both financially and professionally, improving our networking and taking time to improve, want to have access to quality of life, today to have this quality, the cost is generally It's not cheap, I see that many who write texts mainly care about their family and want to make their children, or their parents, have a better quality of life.

To conclude, I think we have to find a balance between not remaining still, without evolving, we must always seek to learn more and improve our skills and with that seek to evolve our standard of living, but also seek to have time for our family and other people. that we have love around us because we cannot waste our most precious asset, our time.

Atualmente vivemos um grande dilema mundial a desigualdade salarial é algo que atinge a maioria da população, mas aí é algo que temos alguns pontos complicados para se debater, podemos dividir na minha opinião em duas situações:

Primeiro uma igualdade salarial entre todos os trabalhadores de diversas profissões é algo meio que utópico na minha opinião de acontecer, pois tem profissões que a pessoa tem que estudar vários anos e adquirir muita experiencia, além de se especializar na área, para ganhar o salário que chegou hoje, acho que seria injusto alguém que começou hoje por exemplo na profissão ganhar o mesmo salário que a outra que está a mais tempo e buscou aperfeiçoamento, pois sua dedicação reconhecida e foi premiado com a meritocracia.

Da mesma forma também não temos como dizer que cada profissão é igual, algumas temos maior risco e/ou maior esforço e como mencionei anteriormente isso deve ter algum prêmio devido à alta responsabilidade.

Mas aí também temos outro ponto, o ser humano realmente iria se contentar com todos ganhando o mesmo salário? Vejo porque conheço pessoas que só reclamam de ganhar a “mesma coisa” que os outros e se pudessem tentariam prejudicar o próximo, o que não deveria ocorrer, deveríamos todos pensar em crescer e evoluir em unidade, somando e não diminuindo.

Porém também devemos falar sobre equidade, isso sim ainda deve ser melhorado muito mais, com o decorrer dos últimos anos, muito foi feito para equilibrar os salários entre homens e mulheres, isso é algo justo, pois se a pessoa faz a mesma função, não tem porque o valor do salário inicial ser menor.

Mas aí vem a pergunta, como “consertar” os salários e deixar todos satisfeitos?

Creio que está é uma pergunta que não existe resposta correta, pois todos nós queremos subir um pouco nosso padrão, sim existem pessoas que chegam a um ponto que se contentam com o quanto ganham, porém muitas vezes essas pessoas estão “sobrevivendo” e não vivendo, pois muitas vezes recebem o suficiente para se manterem e pensam que está bom e isso é algo pessoal e intimo das pessoas, cada um deve seguir o caminho que se sente mais confortável e feliz, as vezes é melhor por exemplo, não fazer “duas horas extras de trabalho” para passar essas mesmas duas horas com a sua família por exemplo, por isso sempre digo que o tempo é a coisa mais valiosa que a gente possui.

Mas acredito que nós que estamos na HIVE e batalhando o dia a dia para evoluir e crescer tanto financeiramente quanto profissionalmente, melhorando nosso networking e disponibilizando tempo para se aperfeiçoar, queremos ter acesso a qualidade de vida, hoje para ter essa qualidade, o custo geralmente não é barato, vejo que muitos que escrevem texto principalmente se preocupam com sua família e querem fazer seus filhos, ou seus pais terem uma melhor qualidade de vida.

Para concluir, penso que temos que buscar o equilíbrio entre não se manter parado, sem evoluir, devemos sempre buscar ter maior aprendizado e aprimorar nossas habilidades e com isso buscar evoluir nosso padrão de vida, mas também buscar ter tempo para nossa família e as pessoas que temos amor em nossa volta, pois não podemos desperdiçar nosso ativo mais precioso, nosso tempo.

you made good points. I think the world would be in chaos if wage was the same. wouldnt be fair to those with seniority like you said and experienced that have more "value" with that experience. However there are some cases I feel that experience gets overpaid. For example, CEOs get paid too much in my opinion. I think that's where we can find the balance. Even though they are on the top I don't think the work they do deserves that amount but this is just my opinion.

But even people under them can make bad decisions and it also affects the company. They will also be responsible for actions their no? Of course CEOs make bigger decisions but i don't think it justifies their pay sometimes. Just to note there was like four ceos that made over 100 million last year and the top one which is from Google made over 200 million this is including compensation of course. It still depends on the employees to execute these decisions . The CEO is nothing much without the people under.

One big reason for the increasing inequality in the wage gap is the compensation CEOs and top executives get for "making a decision" but when it comes to actual work usually they aren't doing anything more than a typical worker. and this evidence is shared in the article that presented the data to support what I'm saying. It's ok that they get paid more but the amount can be questionable~

As for your mention about keeping a reserve to cover legal actions, usually the laws will protect the CEO in most cases from the company's liabilities and losses as long as they were acting in the best interest of the company. This is called the Business Judgement Rule if I'm not wrong. Of course if they were siphoning funds or doing something with bad interest etc that would be another story

o custo geralmente não é barato, vejo que muitos que escrevem texto principalmente se preocupam com sua família e querem fazer seus filhos, ou seus pais terem uma melhor qualidade de vida.

Tenho pensado na hive como uma forma de deixar uma herança para os meus filhos, não apenas financeira, mas cultural também. De mostrar para eles como você disse no seu texto, que o esforço e o mérito em correr atrás de mais coisas é o melhor que podemos fazer para mudar de vida. Não que seja fácil, mas se estamos estudando e tentando melhorar cada vez mais, nada mais justo do que ter um reconhecimento maior também.
