⛰️ Our Home In The Clouds 😶🌫️ It's A Long, Slow Crawl Into The Sky 🪜
During the return from a recent off-mountain trip, I was reminded of the beauty of our home in the clouds when I saw Phnom 1500 from a distance.
🐭 Where Are RisingStar Mice?
After ascending the mountain in our trusty tuk-tuk, I opened the front door of the house to find ChairWoman Meow playing RisingStar. Well, I guess "playing" is subjective, but she did mention she doesn't understand why there isn't enough energy to complete missions. She stated that in the cat world if one wants extra energy one simply kills and consumes another soul, inheriting their power and memories in the process.
After realizing Meow is never going to understand blockchain technology, I kicked her off the computer and banished her to the bedroom where she claimed my wife. If Pov is in the bedroom alone, then her left arm belongs'to Chairwoman Meow. Armpits are apparently this kitty's favorite spot to nest.
🤷♂️ We Aren't All Blessed With Kitty Energy 🐈
Several times a week I have to pick up Monkey-B from school because she finishes earlier than her big sister. I can only recall a handful of times when she fell asleep on the way home from school, but today was one of those days. Bear in mind the tuk-tuk has a diesel engine and is extremely loud, but even arriving home and turning off the engine didn't wake her. She slept for another few minutes while I gathered the bags and headed for the house.
Things have been pretty hectic this week and I've found little time to post, so apologies for the shorter than normal post, I just wanted to get something out in the world so I don't forget how to do it.

I admire a child's ability to fall asleep almost anywhere. We were the same when we were kids. I remember seriously struggling to stay awake while seated in an uncomfortable chair at a desk. One of those plastic ones that was fixed into position. These days I struggle to sleep on my extremely comfortable bed with 4 pillows.
I am about the same way, my desire to sleep increases as I get older, but my ability to actually sleep decreases. Perhaps we should try replacing our pillows with cold moist bus windows, I used to sleep really good against those.
hahaha, yeah that might the trick. we've made our beds too comfortable. It might also be the case of that I rarely run around at full speed like a loon until I am exhausted these days and that was a regular thing for me as a kid.

Things will really get busy most of the time with school children. In less than 2 weeks from now, the new school year will start. Things will get busy in our home too.
The school year in your country starts around the same time as in the USA. Here in Cambodia it is roughly December-January when a new school year starts.
