🎬 Life Outtakes With Mostly Random Goofiness 🤪
I have little time away from work these days, so any Hive content I can drum up is just the occasional goofiness I use to break up the day.
Monkey-B's New "Matilda" Book 🔖
On our trip to Phnom Penh Monkey-B scored a "Matilda" book, a legendary Roald Dahl read. She wasn't interested in this book while in the store, but I promised her it would quickly grow on her. Well she's 2/3rds of the way through it now, so I guess that's a good sign. I also illegally downloaded an Epub of "Harry Potter | The Goblet Of Fire" and the audiobook too.
Renewed Hive Efforts 👩💻
Srey-Yuu was busy making her own Hive post, and lately I've been reminding her to engage a little more and use her HP for voting, something she's been slacking on lately. I am not sure why she's laughing in this photo, I think because she wouldn't look at the camera, so I told her I would wait until one of us died from starvation.
The Cub Is Ready To Roll 👨🔧
The Cub is all put back together and ready for riding. I've fixed the sticky carburetor, installed a new throttle cable, and installed the third passenger footpegs where the rear shock nuts used to be.
Multipurpose Bed 🧺
Our bed is one of the few pieces of furniture in our house, so it often serves as the laundry folding area, and that's what the wife was up to. She seemed to be doing double duty, enjoying a Thai drama while folding and sorting clothes.
Stay Still For 2 Seconds ⏱️
I rarely get the chance to take a photo of these two together, and most of the time I have to ask for it just like I did for the above photo. They can barely stay still long enough for a photo, and of the six shots I took, only one wasn't blurry from subject movement. It's clear who is more excited to be part of a sisters photo.
Remember Who Is Boss 🫵
Monkey-B tried to terrorize me a bit, so I had to show who was boss by chasing her around the house until she attempted a lame retreat to the tent that now rests on top of her bed. It's been chilly at night lately, so the girls decided to pitch the tent on their bed to help conserve body heat. Srey-Yuu requested some podcast screentime, so I punched in two digits of the password, then stared at her while waiting for a smile.
Monkey-B tried to terrorize me a bit, so I had to show who was boss by chasing Okay, that's it for now, I've already wasted my New Year resolution of posting daily, seems time and sleep are things I will never be friends with.

The girls are so so so adorable. Pretty sure the house is storm with laughter most(if not all) the time.
Our bed is a hollow divan. The first year we moved in, wasn't aware there's termite in the house until I hear cracking sound at night, as I turned the divan over to found zillion of holes under the woods.
Despite I manage to debug the house, damage that has been done is there already. Other than gently fall asleep, hardly any extra activity involved with the bed, now you know why the chair instead 🤣
That 2 key password trick, I thought you're going to let her guess the rest 🤣 well, at least you got her to present that most beautiful and brightness smile!
Haha, we have a termite bed in our house too, but luckily the wood is thick, so we have a few more years of reliability. I like to hold the kids hostage with the screentime passcode until they give me flattering comments like "you're the best dad, etc.," and when ego is properly inflated, I punch in the rest of the digits and hand over the iPad.

Those random candid shots are almost always the best (until someone gets caught in mid-blink). It's great seeing people so happy and having a good time. 😀
I have ridden 4-deep, all adults, single-file nuts to butts, more times than I care to admit. The driver has to carefully position the edge of the seat in between their butt cheeks, and the fourth passenger has to sit on top of the rear grab bar, fully trusting it to take their weight. This is super common here, even putting buckets on the left and right side to add more kid passengers. With these techniques I've seen as many as 8 humans moving with 100cc of power. Perfect example below. All the extra folk have to dangle their feet, so the extra pegs are useful.
Wow! The two sisters look so cute. For sure they are having fun of it. That's one of my lacking also to engage a little more. But I'm catching it a little bit day by day.
