👽 Largest Walking Stick Ever Takes Massive Fall 🧠 New Life With A Liquid Brain 🧟

Puu-Mab found a massive walking stick down by the river after it took a fall from a massive tree, and although it was still alive, it now had a liquid brain and a missing leg.

Things Are Bigger Here In The Cardamoms 🐉

Do you see anything in the above photo? Supreme camouflage is the main survival tool walking stick insects have at their disposal. By the time I thought to get my phone and take photos, I'd already placed the traumatized insect back on a nearby tree. Puu-Mab brought it up from the river to show us, and without a doubt it was the largest walking stick I've ever seen in my life.

The first thing I noticed was a missing leg, and there was meat hanging out of the leg hole just like a lobster. This thing felt more like an animal than an insect, and when I attempted to coax it onto a stick so I could transport, it took a fall from only a few inches, but this guy was heavy enough that he hit the ground with force.

Life Without Brains 🧟

After I placed it onto a tree to give it a second chance at life, I noticed its head didn't look normal. What I thought was a neon green mohawk didn't seem to give this insect much camouflage, and upon inspection I realized that the external blob was the brains in liquid form.

As I kept taking shots, I realized the brains were slowly oozing down its back and falling to the ground. No doubt it was sad, but it was also mesmerizing. On one hand I was in awe of such a massive insect, probably will never see another walking stick this large again in my life, and on the other hand I was humbled by this creature's strong will to live.

🪂 Suicidal Base Jumper?

So in a way I guess I was spending some time with this beautiful creature before its life would surely end. Once it firmly latched to the tree it stopped moving and starting rocking with the breeze. It seemed content to just let its brain ooze down its back while it tried not to die of predation in those final moments. And here we are at the end, and if for some reason this post got too sad or dark, don't worry, there plenty of farts, bad jokes, and other shenanigans that went on despite the death of the world's largest walking stick suicidal base jumper.
