A happy occasion. That is what this week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge prompt "wedding" suggests. All is well. The union of two starting a new life together. But not all weddings start or end well. I share a flash fiction story that relates to the prompt in the format of a ZAPFICMonday. The format calls for a micro story that is a well-formulated thought written in 240 characters or less. That's not as easy as it sounds. The format was created by @felt.buzz.
My story is below:
Sylvia stood rigid, eyeing Sylvester. Interested, she nodded.
Like all suitors, he froze, undecided.
No longer able to desist, he rushed over, proclaiming, "I'm yours until death us do part."
"That won't be long my love for I am Black Widow."

Una ocasión feliz. Eso es lo que sugiere el tema "boda" del desafío del lunes de ZAPFIC de esta semana. Todo está bien. La unión de dos que comienzan una nueva vida juntos. Wow, that was a twist! I didn't expect Sylvia to be Black Widow.
I like how you used the word "rigid" to describe Sylvia's body language. It suggests that she is strong and determined, but also cautious. The way she nods her head is also interesting. It's not a simple yes or no, but something more ambiguous.
The last line is the best part. It's a great way to reveal Sylvia's true identity and also add a touch of humor. I love the way you used the phrase "my love" to make it sound like Sylvester is in love with Sylvia, even though he doesn't know who she really is.
An awesome analysis @malos10. You are spot on as the two lovers evaluate each other before making a move. It's a cat and mouse game where the experienced female has an advantage over the unsuspecting male. I'm pleased you liked the last line. I was especially proud of that one making it appear as though the two are intimate.

Yes, love is definitely blind in this relationship. Sometimes accepting a situation is easier than protesting and finding reasons not to move forward or rush in. Actions have consequences. But at the moment, caution is tossed aside. Temporary satisfaction without thinking of the long term effects.
