This microfiction story is for the prompt "she wasn't a winner". When I think of those words, I'm reminds me of individuals who are automatically ruled out of any competition due to certain restraints. It also reminds me of playing a game called "bingo". I can honestly say I never held a winning bingo card. I relate this to my ZAPFIC50 story that's told in exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

Below is my story.

Legs were short; body was plump; and, hands didn't extend enough to help during harvest.

Villagers constantly taunted she wasn't a winner; don't enter the maiden's festival.

Now sixteen, Tatia devised a plan.

The race began. Suddenly, maidens fell all around her.

Tatia strode toward her choice for future husband.
