The Fallen | LMAC FreeStyle Collage No. 21

For my Freestyle Collage No. 21, my theme involves the concept of falling from grace. We've all heard the term "grace". The word is defined as "elegance, beauty of form, manner, motion, or action. It can also be defined as, "a pleasing or attractive quality or endowment, favor or goodwill. 1

The theme of my story depicts a young lady, Natalie, who led a quiet life. About to be married to the man she and her parents approved of, the date was set. Wedding plans were moving along smoothly.

She took a short leave from duties as Vacation Bible School Assistant.

Natalie was a model citizen, a good samaritan, and a faithful soul. Smiling was part of her personality, with always a good word and deed for anyone she encountered.

It was just too good to be true. It didn't take long for temptation to learn of Natalie's good virtues. Disgusted at hearing them, He decided to pay a visit. He had to witness this for himself.

He knew that everyone has a weakness. And of course, no human being is perfect. He set out to prove his point.

Falling from grace is not as easy as people think. An internal struggle takes place.

In the end, some win; some lose, He thought, smiling.

For Natalie, the loss was devastating. She didn't confide in anyone. Instead of realizing that indeed no human is perfect, and acting for forgiveness, she decided she was no longer worthy of anyone's grace.

She decided to take matters into her own hands for redemption.

Reaching her in time was the saving grace she needed. That type of forgiveness isn't given my man.

To create my theme, I utilized the contest image provided by @shaka in his Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 159 - ✨153 HIVE in the Prize Pool!

To portray the young woman, I located a lovely image of a woman in the clouds. This was perfect to suggest in this story that the situation would resolve itself in the positive:

For the location Natalie loved to visit, I wanted to portray a dark, but ethereal setting where she felt at peace. I located a nice shoreline. The additional images I included to complete my theme, one was contributed to the LMAC LIL database by @redheadpei.

The other image of the angel was a perfect match for the scene. I feel the scene depicted my thoughts on forgiveness and redemption.

What is Let's Make a Collage?It is a weekly photography and collage contest.

What type of contest is it?This Contest utilizes a single photo provided by the contest owner as the basis for you to create your own photo collage by adding to the photo provided.
What are the rules?1. Use as your starting point for your collage the photography provided by the contest owner. It is located on the contest owner's post for free use without any copyright protection.
2. Entries are required to be posted to the LMAC community and must contain a link to the contest post.
3. Entries need to set the LMAC account (@lmac) as 20% beneficiary to be eligible for the dynamic component of the prize pool.;
4. Extra support with the LMAC trail to all collages where LIL assets have been included AND the respective LIL-contributors set as 2% beneficiaries;
5. By submitting your contribution you agree that your artwork remains public domain and that it can be copied, modified and distributed, even for commercial purposes, without requiring further permission.
6. Any graphical element that is added to the photography either needs to be your own original work (e.g. own artwork or photography) OR needs to derive from sites whitelisted by LMAC.
7. IMPORTANT: Indicate the source of all materials used in your accompanying post. Otherwise your entry can NOT be put up for the final vote.
8. All sort of editing, modification and/or manipulation is allowed as long as no copyright is affected.
