A United Front | LMAC FreeStyle Collage No. 13

My current freewrite collage project centers around Greek mythology. The theme is "unlikely allies". In this scenario, I pair two powefulful entities. Their connection is that of husband and wife. It's no secret that the head of the Olympians, Zeus, was never monogamous. His numerous trysts were legend. His head wife, Hera was insanely jealous of his numerous children by other goddesses and human females.

However, when a common enemy presented itself, Zeus and Hera combined their strength, together with several other sisters and brothers, to defeat him. That powerful enemy was their father in the famous battle of the Titans. This battle decided who would rule.

This battle and other adventures, powerplays, counterplays, allies and enemies of the deity world are famous in Greek mythology.

Not only did Zeue reign supreme, he also had the ability to father children without a female. Several of these children were foretold to defeat him in the future, so he chose to dispose of them.

Hera also aided in these eliminations either lone, with accomplices, or with the aid of Zeusa as it would serve her endgame to rid herself of competitions.

To assist with the background of the scene, I utilized a previous LMAC contest image to provide a volatile skyline:

In preparing my theme, I discovered a dramatic image to represent the queen of the gods. I also utilized my pure fractals and an image from the LIL.

With my Annual Pro Membership Subscription, I was able to blend all images together to portray two powerful deities using their powers to eliminate enemies.
