WednesdayWalk: Birthday Celebration Of My Son 12/21/2022 That MakesMeSmile

Hello everybody,

I have re-write this post because I drafted it last December 22 but was not able to published it due to slow internet connection.

Last December 21 was my son's 36th birthday and because he is our driver and manager of our soil boring test business, his daddy gifted him a restaurant treat together with his 4 regular drillers.

We travelled as early as 9:00 am we were at the Gaisano Grandmall waiting for his uncle, the half brother of hubby, who travelled by bus from his hometown, Aloquinsan, about two towns away from our City. When his uncle arrived, we travelled to Lapu-lapu City to fetched my daughter's family and of course our little traveller, Bingbing, our greatgranddaughter. We missed her much because we've seen her last month of July.

As usual we passed by CCLX, Cebu Cordova Link Expressway.

Then, we passed by Brgy Babag 2 in Lapu-Lapu many stores side by side sell fireworks instead of basic commodities but it is understandable because this place is famous for fireworks factory. Sureness it will be sold out before Jan 01 because it is already a tradition in everyhousehold to lit fireworks at 12 midnight of December 31.

After we fetched my daughter's family, travelled again to Hippodromo, where our drillers reside. We passed by the 1st bridge connecting Lapu-lapu and Mandaue City. I noticed the bridge new paint and the sides were already filled with wire fence because there are many who committed suicide jump off the bridge when it was still open wall panels.

After we fetched our men, we went to IL Corso passing by the tunnel to SRP-South Road Project where IL Corso is located.

When we arrived, oh oh, IL Corso was still close so, hubby decided we went to Parola Seaview Resto in Cordova. We travelled again passed by CCLX it was good the bridge was near, in just a short time we arrived at Parola, all alighted right away because all were hungry, but hubby remained inside the Van and I just ordered take out for us.

My son ordered right away the foods.

Our little traveller enjoyed her high chair!

When the manager knew it was the birthday of my son, the food crew sang and danced Happy Birthday to them while they were eating. While hubby and me ate inside the van.

I take out order, too, for my daughter because that time she was in school.

When everybody was full, hubby said we passed by Mactan Shrine because it was early to go home. When we arrived there it was different when we last visited the area about 5 yrs ago. No more trees at the center all floors were cemented and the shrine of Lapu-lapu is bronze.

And, of course my selfie ahehehe...

I concluded, maybe the big trees before were down by super typhoon Odette.

Then, we went home, we delivered first my daughters family, next our drillers. It was night time already and hungry again hahaha we passed by Jollibee in Naga City in their drive thru and ate inside the van park in front at their parking lot. Then, just right turn at the back viewed their famous Christmas lights at their boardwalk. They displayed unlimited Christmas lights because I've heard the electric bill is free sponsored by the power plant here in this City.

We did not walk through their plaza because the parking space was far from the boardwalk and for sure hubby can't enjoy viewing it, so, we went home and laugh at our 8 dogs who all barked loud, happy that we arrived.

Way to go @tattoo-djay for WednesdayWalk and the collaboration with @elizacheng that MakesMeSmile on this walk and to @justinparke to post here on AseanHive Community.

Thank you for dropping by guys...
