Needlework Monday: Crochet A Beanie For My Son Who Likes Pink Hue

Hello everybody,

Last Oct 16,2024 when I submitted the 15 Christmas Balls I made at Crafter's Nook, my son and grandson helped me carry the balls up to the 2nd floor of the building where the yarn store is located. When we were inside the store, my son appreciated and wowed at the yarns displaced. Then, he picked the pink 5ply yarn and told me to make him a beanie.

The following day, I started right away his request and done it right away last Saturday, Oct 19.

I fitted it on my head after I finished crocheting it almost midnight.

And, fitted on my hubby's head, too.

I search on Pinterest for a beanie inspiration. Grateful I found one using half double crochet in all rounds.

When the size can cover my head I fold it and sew the two sides.

Then, sew the top...

And, fold the bottom...

Crocheted the edging with one line black yarn for contrast. That's it the beanie, done.

I was able to give to our son yesterday the beanie because he was busy with work for the past days.
