My First Taste Of "Tuslob Buwa"
Hello everybody,
Last night, at last I've tasted "Tuslob Buwa" at CCLEX Tropical Food Park, my first time ever.
Yesterday we have visitor's at our home, my six Myoho Sis, members of Soka Gakkai Int'l, we prayed for World Peace about 30 minutes. After praying we dropped them to other member's house and prayed there also. But, me, with hubby, grandson and my son our driver travelled to Lapu-Lapu City to follow up the car mechanic that did our Multi-cab. When we were at Cordova the traffic was bumper to bumper, then my son suggested we will come back the following day because surely we will go home by mid-night. My hubby approved his suggestion then we turned back. When we were on the CCLEX toll gate I told them it was eating time, so, we went straight to CCLEX Tropical Food Park which is just a few yards away.
That time hubby asked me what I wanted to eat. I told him this time I wanted to taste "Tuslob Buwa" because I was curious what's the taste. It was good hubby approved, but he won't taste it, he said it was yuck! Hahaha.Even though I am from Cebu but I have not tasted this food. We requested a table must be placed at the door of our van because hubby is a pwd person.
They approved our request, gladly placed the table then placed the stoved where the "Tuslob Buwa"be cooked.
The server explained that the ingredients of "Tuslob Buwa" were:
Cooking Oil...
A little amount of pork brain...
A little amount of pork liver...
Pork sauce...
That's it, I added two drops of soy sauce, stirred and stirred until it's bubbly, it was already cooked. We off the stove in front of us. When it was not anymore hot I dipped the hanging rice and ate. It was yummy!
I googled the meaning of "Tuslob Buwa" - dip in bubbles.
The name roughly translates to "dip in bubbles," a reference to its consistency and a hint on how to enjoy it. Diners dip puso or hanging rice (cooked rice wrapped around coconut leaves), into the thick and bubbly froth and pop the salty, greasy pieces into their mouth.

Where did tuslob buwa come from?
Tuslob buwa meaning dip in bubbles is a Cebuano street food which originates from barangay of Pasil and Suba in Cebu City.
Ahh, that's why the food stall's name is Pasil.
My son and me was the only one who ate, we invited hubby telling him it was yummy but he really can't eat the brain.
Later, more of our orders arrived. Pork Barbecue, Chicken legs Barbeque, Chinese ngohiong, Lato and Grilled Blue Marlin for hubby.
Ho my we were all full! Hubby was surprised because we ordered many dish but I paid exactly 1k only no senior citizen discount. After relaxing we went home, arrived past 9pm already. We were all tired. The dogs barked happily we were home safe. That's all folks, happy to taste new food yesterday.
Thanks for dropping by...
